Hitachi Buys Header Compression Test License from Effnet

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- The Japanese company Hitachi Communication Technologies Ltd. has bought a test license for Effnet's Header Compression software.

Hitachi Communication Technologies Ltd. is a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., a leading global electronics company. The company is among others a leader in the design, development and worldwide sales of information and communication system-related products, including IP networks and 3rd Generation Mobile Communication Systems.

Effnet's Header Compression products are written in ANSI C language, are easy to port to different platforms, and runs on all well known operating systems. Effnet's Header Compression products can be provided with a test environment tool, Effnet HC-Sim(TM), which is very useful for integration and testing.

The order will not have any effect on the sales and income for the first quarter of the year.
