netCustomer and Ingres Expand Partnership to Provide a Cost-Effective, Open Source Alternative; Joint Enterprise Application and Database Support Services, Including Migrations, to Be Made Available

Business Wire, April 24, 2006

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- netCustomer Inc., a leading provider of enterprise software support and services, announced today an expanded partnership with Ingres Corporation, the leading business open source database company, to provide high quality support services and open source database solutions that will dramatically lower costs for PeopleSoft and J. D. Edwards users.

As part of the companies' expanded partnership, netCustomer and Ingres will offer enterprise application and database support, including customized services to maintain and support customers' existing investments in enterprise software applications. netCustomer will also offer database migration services to help customers move from expensive proprietary database platforms to Ingres 2006, the leading enterprise open source database estimated to be half the cost of Oracle.

"J. D. Edwards and PeopleSoft customers have faced progressively diminishing value for their support dollars and uncertain product roadmap," said Punita Pandey, CEO, netCustomer. "Our experience in supporting enterprise applications and our partnership with Ingres empowers these customers to carefully evaluate their choices to reduce the total cost of ownership of their enterprise software environment."

Working with PeopleSoft as their outsourced services provider for over four years, netCustomer supported worldwide customers and delivered huge savings to PeopleSoft. netCustomer now offers its support and services directly to PeopleSoft and J. D. Edwards customers. Companies can save more than 50% on their annual support and maintenance costs while getting customized services for their applications environment.

"As PeopleSoft and J. D. Edwards customers evaluate the future of their applications environment, it's an optimal time for them to look at open-source database alternatives vis-a-vis closed-source solutions," said Tom Berquist, Ingres Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. "With its data center track record, the now open-source Ingres will appeal to customers who are looking to uniformly lower their costs without sacrificing the reliability and performance they expect from their database platform."

netCustomer is attending Collaborate 06 in Nashville, Tennessee, April 23 - 27, 2006, exhibiting at booth # 134, and sponsoring the networking lounge in the Quest area of the conference. netCustomer team, including its management and board members, will be present to meet with companies to discuss quality and cost-effective enterprise software support services and solutions. netCustomer team includes several former executives from J. D. Edwards and PeopleSoft.

netCustomer has designed special on-demand support packages for Collaborate 06 attendees for J. D. Edwards and PeopleSoft products. These packages will offer customized services with proven quality and significant savings. For more information, visit netCustomer at booth # 134 at Collaborate 06.
