mPhase Technologies Prototype Magnetometer on Display at New Jersey Security & Defense Expo Tomorrow
Business Wire, April 24, 2006
LITTLE FALLS, N.J. -- mPhase Technologies (OTCBB:XDSL) is participating at the New Jersey Technology Council's 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Homeland Security & Defense Expo tomorrow by displaying its prototype ultra-sensitive magnetometer that could be used in defense and homeland security applications.
The event is taking place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Physics Plasma Lab at Princeton University. The facility is located about two miles north of Princeton University's main campus on U.S. Route 1 at the Forrestal Exit. More information about the conference is posted online at http://www.njtc.org/events/indevt.asp?dbid=453054884.
Working press interested in an onsite briefing should contact Sam Gronner, TMI, at (201) 592 7896 or sam@technovative.com.
Magnetometers detect changes or disturbances in magnetic fields and derive information on properties such as direction, presence, rotation, angle, or electrical currents; they make excellent sensors for a wide range of applications. The uncooled magnetometer is designed to be produced with standard silicon production techniques.
