Trusted Computing Group Hosts Trusted Network Connect -TNC- Networking Security and Access Control Seminar at InterOp Las Vegas 2006; Enterprise Strategy Group Senior Analyst Jon Oltsik to Keynote

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Trusted Computing Group (TCG), the industry's standard for enabling trustworthy computing through connected products, will host a Trusted Network Connect (TNC) networking security and access control seminar at the InterOp Las Vegas 2006 networking industry conference and expo.
The free seminar will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 1 p.m.-4 p.m., in Hall A2, Room A22 Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas. TCG technology experts will discuss why the open industry approach of Trusted Network Connect is critical to the enterprise. The keynote, "Network Security Challenges and Solutions" by Jon Oltsik, senior analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group, will include Oltsik's high-level perspective on network security, standards, and applications. The seminar will also highlight the TNC architecture and related network access control initiatives, the role of TNC in the multivendor enterprise, the infrastructure underlying TNC, and platform trust services.

Oltsik is a senior analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group and founded its Information Security service in 2003. Oltsik is widely recognized as an expert in security management and technology and also focuses on identity and access management. Prior to joining ESG, Oltsik was the founder and principal of Hype-Free Consulting. Oltsik previously served as vice president of marketing and strategy at GiantLoop Network, where he managed all external marketing activities and defined the company's strategic vision. Oltsik was also a senior analyst at Forrester Research, where he covered a wide range of infrastructure and IT topics. In this role, he was frequently quoted in business journals, including the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and the New York Times, and was the recipient of a prestigious "best research" award for his breakthrough report, "The Internet Computing Voyage." Oltsik holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
