Top Layer Networks Names Robert Daigneault Vice President Of Worldwide Sales; Daigneault to Lead Top Layer's Worldwide Sales Effort as Company Responds to Growing Global Interest in its Intrusion Prevention Systems

WESTBORO, Mass. -- Top Layer Networks, Inc., the leading provider of globally proven intrusion prevention solutions, today announced the appointment of Robert Daigneault to the position of vice president of worldwide sales. Reporting directly to Peter Rendall, President and Chief Executive Officer of Top Layer Networks, Daigneault will be responsible for managing a team of highly talented and motivated sales professionals to sell Top Layer's intrusion prevention products.

Daigneault joins Top Layer Networks after holding several executive sales management positions. He has successfully executed multiple channel programs that significantly increased sales. Daigneault held the position of executive vice president of worldwide sales at both Digital Equipment Corporation and Enterasys. In both of these roles Daigneault was responsible for billion dollar sales targets. In addition, Daigneault has held senior vice president of sales roles for Clear Cube Technology and Asante Technologies Inc.
