Network Equipment Technologies and Datacraft Expand Strategic Alliance; Partnership Provides Premier IT Sales and Services for NET in Asia Pacific

FREMONT, Calif. -- Industry pioneer Network Equipment Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:NWK) and Datacraft, the leading IT solutions and services company in Asia Pacific, have renewed their strategic partnership in order to provide Datacraft's clients with NET's Promina, VX Series and NX Series multi-service network exchange solutions.

Datacraft has been working with NET to provide regional IT services and expertise for the past twelve years, and has been particularly successful in the China market. In renewing the strategic partnership, Datacraft will provide a full range of sales distribution and service functions for NET products throughout the Asia Pacific region, including the NX Series solutions, which will begin rolling out later in 2006. The partnership also tightens the integration between NET and Datacraft across all areas of the organizations including hardware, software, services and marketing.
