E-Z-EM Launches www.RSDecon.com Site for RSDL

Business Wire, April 27, 2006

LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. -- E-Z-EM, Inc. (NASDAQ:EZEM) today announced the launch of www.RSDecon.com, a new website dedicated to the Company's Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion (RSDL(TM)) product. The Company developed the site to provide an informative resource for the military and emergency first responder personnel who make up the two primary markets for the product.

RSDL is a patented, broad-spectrum, skin decontamination product intended to remove or neutralize chemical warfare (CW) agents or T2 toxin from the skin. Originally developed for the Canadian Ministry of Defense, RSDL has since been adopted by several military services around the world, and is currently undergoing final configuration testing by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) for eventual deployment with U.S. troops. The U.S. Department of Defense authorized the sale of RSDL to first responder organizations in September of 2004. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued 510(k) clearance for RSDL in March of 2003.

Commenting on the announcement, Anthony A. Lombardo, President and CEO of E-Z-EM, said, "RSDL is a very high profile product, so we developed this dedicated resource with the particular needs of military and first responder markets in mind. This space is intended to be dynamic, and will grow and expand over time as all good websites should. We worked closely with our contacts at the DoD while this site was developed, and appreciate their assistance in getting the site launched."
