The MathWorks Opens Office in Sydney, Australia; Company to Provide Sales, Training, and Support Services for MATLAB and Simulink

SYDNEY, Australia -- The MathWorks announced today that it has opened an office in Sydney, Australia, The MathWorks Australia Pty Ltd, that will be responsible for selling and supporting the Company's MATLAB(R) and Simulink(R) product platforms throughout the country. The MathWorks will now offer direct support and services for technical computing and Model-Based Design to the expanding Australian customer base in the aerospace and defense, automotive, and financial industries along with government R&D organizations and academia.
