Pace Micro Technology Showcases its Family of Products for North America at NCTA's 2006 National Show April 9-11 in Atlanta; Includes Debut of Vegas SD-DVR, Plus Features Tahoe HD-DVR, Home Networking Technology, eMTAs for VoIP and Much More

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Pace Expert Speaks on Home Networking at Show April 11

Pace Micro Technology, a leading digital set-top box provider specializing in the development of emerging technologies, today announced it will showcase its family of products for North American markets at the National Cable Television Association's (NCTA) 2006 National Show in Atlanta April 9-11. In addition, Pace Micro Technology's Chief Technologist Steve Jenkins will present his paper, "Home Coax Metamorphosis: From TV Distribution To Content Network," as part of the "Works of Architecture: New Approaches for Media Distribution" session to be held on Tuesday, April 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in Room B407.

Products featured at the show are:

Chicago DC 501

One of the most innovative box designs in the market today. This
powerful standard definition, all-digital set-top box, the Chicago DC
501, offers superior processing power for applications being used
today in the industry as well as for emerging applications like
CableLabs(R) OpenCable(TM) Application Platform (OCAP)(TM). Chicago's
small case design with remote IR tether port, make it a perfect hidden
box.

Tahoe TDC775 HD-DVR

A highly advanced high definition DVR for North America, Tahoe has
been fully integrated with the latest generation of set-top box EPG
and VOD applications. This dual-tuner HD-DVR set-top box is also a
leading high-definition DVR OCAP-compliant platform. Tahoe`s internal
DOCSIS 2.0 modem can also provide high-speed data connections and was
the industry's first set-top box certified by CableLabs(R) for
DOCSIS/DSG. Features are in abundance with advanced connectivity and
stunning analog picture quality. Tahoe DC775 is also available in an
all-digital configuration.

Vegas TDC575 SD-DVR

This all digital, dual-tuner SD-DVR provides the market with a
low-cost solution for DVRs and is an ideal candidate for mass
deployment. It is a richly featured set-top box that includes advanced
connectivity and DOCSIS/DSG. Like Tahoe, Vegas has been integrated
with the latest EPG and VOD applications and additionally supports
OCAP. It, too, has been certified by CableLabs for DOCSIS/DSG. A slim
case design and low cost make Vegas the choice for large-scale DVR
deployments.

Daytona DC755HD

The Daytona offers a sensible HD set-top box alternative for
Motorola-type networks. Integrated with the latest in EPG and VOD
applications, Daytona has proven to be a reliable and feature-rich HD
set-top box.

Miami DC757

This all digital HD set-top box is Pace America's newest family
member. Miami is the logical extension to our product line and offers
the latest in EPG and VOD applications plus OCAP support. The latest
processing power and DOCSIS 2.0 features make Miami a future-proof HD
solution. Extensive connectivity - including everything from HDMI to
RF - makes this perfect for digital simulcast and DSG deployments.

Indiana DC511

The Indiana is a standard definition set-top box that comes with
an extra 100 MIPs processing power and improved robustness. Indiana
also offers the latest in EPG, VOD and game applications.

Laguna DC551HD

The Laguna is a high definition set-top box that comes with HDMI
as standard - the latest in display connectivity - to provide secure,
high-performance digital audio and video links. Laguna also supports
1394 5C protected interface and boasts best-in-class processing speed
and memory capacity and comprehensive connectivity options for easy
installation into even the most complex home theatre systems.

Boston DV315 eMTA

Designed for Voice over Internet Protocol's (VoIP) market growth
in mind, this PacketCable-certified product is comprised of a highly
integrated component design that provides low power consumption, long
battery life for life-line service during power outages, and support
for a wide variety of voice codecs for maximum operator flexibility.
The DV315 eMTA has been awarded PacketCable(TM) 1.0, DOCSIS 2.0, and
DOCSIS 1.1 certification by CableLabs.

Tahoe Media Server

A cornerstone to Pace's next generation products, the Tahoe Media
Server will also be demonstrated at the show. This HD server product
provides full DVR capability and can also stream content to several
client set-top boxes using an IP based transmission scheme.
