BSQUARE to Offer Hardware Development Platforms for Monahans Platform Family; BSQUARE to Extend DevkitIDP Product Line to Support Next-Generation Intel® XScale® Architecture

BELLEVUE, Wash. -- BSQUARE (Nasdaq:BSQR), a leading provider of smart device solutions, will provide Microsoft(R) Windows(R) CE hardware development platforms for OEMs adopting Intel Corporation's newest processor family (codenamed Monahans) based on third-generation Intel XScale(R) architecture. The new BSQUARE DevkitIDP products will provide OEM design teams a wide variety of peripheral chips, multiple expansion slots, a high-resolution display, and various connectivity and storage options. Hardware engineers can rapidly plan and validate mobile designs while software engineers develop applications in an environment close to production hardware. OEMs using the DevkitIDP to develop smartphones, data collection tablets, PDAs, medical devices and more can enjoy a significant time-to-market advantage.
