Procter & Gamble Chief Privacy Officer to Deliver Keynote at Retail Data Security Forum in Chicago

NEWTON, Mass. -- Retail Systems Alert Group announced today that Sandra Hughes, Global Privacy Executive (Chief Privacy Officer), Procter & Gamble will deliver the opening keynote address at the Retail Data Security Forum, to be held May 22-24, 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, USA.
The Retail Data Security Forum will investigate retailers' growing need to protect customer specific information, explore how data can be safely used and shared with partners, and offer insights on how to prepare and protect against a security breach. Industry leaders will provide attendees with information, best practices, and solutions to manage and keep their customer data secure. The event is organized by Retail Systems Alert Group.
In her keynote entitled, "Point of Sale Privacy," Sandra Hughes will discuss her approach to data privacy, how to build a customer relationship based on transparency and trust, and the practices and processes that facilitate successful relationships. As Global Privacy Executive at Procter & Gamble, Sandra leads the company's privacy initiative, designed and implemented to promote trust among consumers, employees and their constituencies. She is also the Vice President of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
