Business Wire, April 5, 2006
GAITHERSBURG, Md. & LAS VEGAS -- ACE*COMM Corporation (NASDAQ:ACEC), a global provider of network business intelligence and mobile applications, announced today at the CTIA Wireless 2006 event in Las Vegas a technology partnership with Experian, a global leader in consumer-level information, to supply new demographic data capabilities for its Market Maker(TM) market visualization tool. ACE*COMM Market Maker(TM) provides mobile operators with the ability to concurrently visualize their market, network, services and usage in order to optimize resources, target sales and marketing campaigns more intelligently, and reduce churn.
"We wanted to make Market Maker(TM) the most powerful competitive tool
in a service provider's arsenal," said Chris Couch, Chief Marketing Officer for ACE*COMM. "Experian is a leader in market intelligence, which makes it a perfect fit for enhancing our product's capabilities. Armed with robust consumer profiling and demographic data capabilities, mobile operators will now be able to more effectively offer targeted services to their best customer prospects."
Experian is a global leader in providing value-added information solutions to organizations and consumers. With demographic data for more than 215 million people in the U.S., and business-to-business information on more than 15 million US companies, Experian has the most comprehensive primary data resources in the world. ACE*COMM Market Maker(TM) now features Experian's Mosaic consumer profiling and demographic data capabilities to help telecom service providers gain additional information and insights into prospective and existing customers.
"The more you know about your customers and prospects, the more effective your marketing efforts will be," said Marc Fanelli, Vice President, Business Strategies Group, Experian Marketing Services. "We are pleased to partner with ACE*COMM to provide their clients with access to Experian's award winning Mosaic consumer profiling, market analysis and data solutions. Mosaic is used across the globe to help marketers gain marketing intelligence and insight on more than a billion consumers across the world's most prosperous economies including the USA, Europe, Asia Pacific and China."
Market Maker(TM), part of ACE*COMM's Network Business Intelligence(TM) suite of products, extracts and analyzes data from disparate sources such as the network infrastructure, billing systems, customer fulfillment, credit ratings, usage on the network, and GIS systems. It presents the analyses through both geo-spatial visualizations and traditional reporting mechanisms.
ACE*COMM Market Maker's(TM) capabilities include:
--Customer Identification: analyses data such as location of calls made, customer addresses, demographics, credit history, form factor, and usage trends, to identify most valuable customers and those likely to have an interest in specific services or price plans.
--Marketing Campaign Support and Call Sheet Generation: provides analysis of capacity versus penetration, layering, and customer visualization support to identify marketing campaign opportunities and marketing list generation.
--Customer Experience: correlates data from multiple sources to identify factors that impact subscriber usage and retention. It creates "experience views" of customers, as individuals and in aggregate, accounting for influences across the customer experience spectrum (services, customer support performance, calling patterns, handset and battery being used, billing and payment history, etc.) in order to help the operator make decisions that maximize profitability of customers, and retention of profitable customers.
