Virtusa and Vignette Renew Strategic Partnership to Enhance Development of Vignette ECM Solutions
Business Wire, April 5, 2006
AUSTIN, Texas & WESTBOROUGH, Mass. -- Vignette and Virtusa today announced a strategic partnership to leverage the Vignette Center of Excellence, currently in operation at Virtusa's Hyderabad Technology Center, for Vignette product management, product engineering and professional services implementation. Vignette develops a comprehensive suite of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions that help organizations transform their content from a liability to an asset.
The Vignette Center of Excellence at Virtusa opened in 2000 as a small quality assurance team and has since evolved into a significant ecosystem fully integrated with Vignette's global engineering workforce, processes and systems. Under the terms of the new agreement, Vignette may increase the team size as needed.
"I consider the Virtusa team an integral part of global engineering," said Leo Brunnick, senior vice president of Engineering and IT at Vignette. "The synergy between engineering and professional services is very powerful at the Vignette Center of Excellence."
"This partnership will provide our teams a great opportunity to work closely with some of the world's best engineering talent," said John Gillis, executive vice president of Virtusa.
