Business Wire, April 5, 2006
NORWALK, Conn. -- EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500(R) leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses globally, is continuing its industry-leading work in building, powering, servicing facilities and protecting mission critical systems and infrastructure through recent awards of Life Safety Solutions contracts. Through projects such as these, which are international and involve organizations across virtually every sector of the economy, EMCOR is helping to increase the safety of the most critical parts of any organization - people and physical assets - by creating more secure environments.
EMCOR Life Safety Solutions experts design and install systems, such as fire protection, security, power, and air quality control - from the most complex to the simplest, from extensive networks to single sites - for a range of businesses and organizations that include: corporate complexes to small offices, shopping malls to corner shops, airports, seaports, train stations, parking facilities, museums, schools, hospitals, manufacturing plants, power plants, casinos, hotels and entertainment venues, and government facilities.
"Whether the danger stems from a natural disaster, power outages, fire or any other incident, security and safety for people and mission critical facilities are of paramount importance to any organization. EMCOR supports the systems and assets that businesses count on to protect them and upon which security personnel and first responders rely. By ensuring that these systems are integrated into the overall operations of our clients and that they run as smoothly as possible, no matter what the circumstances, we are able to protect businesses' bottom lines by improving the likelihood that not only will they survive an emergency, but that they will recover quickly," said Frank T. MacInnis, Chairman and CEO of EMCOR Group. "Because of the depth and breadth of the services we provide, we are in a unique position to build and maintain every aspect of our clients' life safety and security systems, encompassing everything from construction to operation to future improvements."
