Business Wire, April 5, 2006
VIENNA, Va. -- Laura Snyder, Property Manager at KSI Services, Inc., won the coveted 2006 Property Manager of the Year Award at the National Association of Home Builders Gala held this week in Scottsdale, Arizona. One of the 2006 Pillars of the Industry awards, Snyder's honor is one of the most prestigious in the homebuilder industry, showcasing innovation and leadership in future trends.
Snyder has worked in property management for more than ten years, and has worked with KSI for more than half of her career. In 2005, she and her team finished the most successful lease-up in KSI history, a 244-unit property fully leased eight months ahead of schedule. In addition, she completed two lease-ups of affordable housing communities managed by KSI.
"What sets Laura apart in the industry is that she is a true leader," said Cynthia Clare, President of KSI Property Management. "She develops her team, gives them responsibility and gets herself out of the way to let them succeed. We can all learn from her passion and enthusiasm, and we're happy she is on the KSI team."
In addition to the Property Manager of the Year Award, KSI also was honored with a Pillars of the Industry award for best corporate web site. This award has taken on more and more significance, according to KSI officials, because buyers are turning to the Internet in increasing numbers as they consider the purchase of new homes.
