Digital Rum Launches Corporate Mobile Messenger Service based on Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005; New Corporate Solution Enables Real-Time Collaboration on Symbian Series 60, RIM Blackberry and Java Micro Edition Handsets

LAS VEGAS -- Digital Rum (dR), a leader in mobilising corporate communications, today launches Corporate Mobile Messenger, a secure enterprise Instant Messaging (IM) and Presence service that seamlessly extends Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 to mass market mobile phones.
Developed in cooperation with Microsoft, Corporate Mobile Messenger extends the capabilities of Live Communications Server to mobile devices, such as Symbian Series 60, RIM Blackberry and Java Micro Edition handsets. Corporate Mobile Messenger with Live Communications Server enables mobile workforces to engage in more secure, seamless, real-time collaboration with office-based colleagues, partners and third parties, increasing productivity and responsiveness of mobile employees and knowledge workers.
Corporate Mobile Messenger is offered as a unique hosted service, and forms part of dR's Mobile Customer Relationship Management (M-CRM) application suite. Key benefits include:
--transformation of standard company mobile phones into dynamic communities supporting one-to-one or one-to-many IM and voice collaboration;
--seamless end-to-end security ensured from the corporate domain all the way to the mobile phone.
