Virginia Port Authority Selects Boyden to Partner in Search for New Executive Director; Top Global Search Firm to Provide Seamless Transition for Retiring VPA Head; New Executive Director Will Continue to Expand One of Nation's Top Ports

WASHINGTON -- The Virginia Port Authority (VPA) has announced that Boyden global executive search has been retained to assist in selecting a new Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director. The new port Executive Director will replace J. Robert Bray, who will retire at the end of 2007. The VPA just completed its fiscal year 2006, handling more than 2 million container TEUs, up 7.6 percent over fiscal 2005.

The selection panel was unanimous in its decision that Boyden should receive the contract award."
