Customer Input Counts as Cypress Software Launches Mark IV Release 3; Updated consumer loan application automation software offers more than 50 enhancements for banks and financial institutions
Business Wire, August 16, 2006
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas -- Cypress Software Systems, LP has launched Release 3 of its Mark IV software, which is used by financial institutions nationwide and across 16 countries to quickly and consistently process consumer loan applications.
Like previous versions, input for new features and functions in Release 3 came largely from Mark IV users. The update includes more than 50 enhancements, of which 23 came from Cypress clients.
"As we continue to upgrade Mark IV and our other software products, user feedback and recommendations are crucial. Thus, our clients have a resounding impact on the future of the software and services we provide," said Stephen G. Sargent, president and chief executive officer. "Release 3 expands upon the user-friendliness of previous versions, while providing banks and financial institutions with an efficient, cost-reducing tool for their lending operations."
According to Sargent, some of the key features and functionality of Mark IV Release 3 include:
--Enhanced derogatory record analysis - Release 3 displays an applicant's public records from credit bureaus in an easy-to-read, color-coded table format, allowing ease of investigation. The format and functionality is similar to Mark IV's existing debt reconciliation screen.
--Color-coded warnings - Release 3 provides the ability for users to set up color-coded warnings that alert management or key personnel that an application has been on hold too long or requires special attention.
Mark IV Release 3 is available as a behind-the-firewall solution and on Cypress' new application service provider (ASP) network, under which Cypress manages all software and data at a central and secure location, and clients don't need additional hardware, software or IT staffing to run and maintain the application.
Like previous releases, the new version of Mark IV allows lenders to take loan applications electronically while interviewing applicants, quickly retrieve credit reports, efficiently review sources of repayment, and deploy their loan policies. Cypress provides these tools with the goal of speeding a quality loan decision back to the applicant.
