Danware's NetOp Tech Inc. Launches Premium Partnership Program for North American Resellers; NetOp Business Partner Program Offers Support and Benefits to Drive Growth
Business Wire, August 2, 2006
CHICAGO -- NetOp Tech Inc. U.S., a wholly owned subsidiary of Danish software maker Danware A/S, today launched a new partner program for resellers of its NetOp line of products in North America. NetOp products are used by more than 10,000 U.S. customers and include remote control, classroom teaching, computer security and Internet filtering software.
The NetOp Business Partner Program is designed to give resellers a choice of partnership categories -- each with a wide range of resources and support throughout all stages of the business cycle.

As appropriate at each level, NetOp partners will have significant opportunities for growth, attractive margins, co-marketing funds, global and local references (from Danware's Fortune 2000 customer base) and sales leads. Danware will also assist partners with account management, certification and training and provide access to the NetOp Partner Portal, a Web-based site containing all relevant partner information and a broad range of materials for product promotion
"The goal of this program is to bring true innovation to partnering to complement our technical and marketing expertise and enable our partners to capitalize on new opportunities and deliver real business value to their customers," said Peter Groendahl, chief executive officer for Danware A/S.
Danware recently established a Chicago-based subsidiary, NetOp Tech, Inc. to manage and improve the NetOp partner network in the United States and Canada for Danware's top-selling core products -- NetOp School, NetOp Remote Control, NetOp On Demand and NetOp Security -- as well as recent additions to the product line.
The five available NetOp Tech Inc. partner categories include:
Gold Certified Partner -- Partners at this level will have trained and certified sales and support staff promoting, implementing and supporting all or selected NetOp products and solutions in a given territory and/or industry.
Certified Partner -- A Certified Partner is either a partner on the route to reaching the gold level or for whom the partnership is complementary to his main business. Partners at this level have training staff capable of providing professional sales support as well as technical first-level, after-sales support.
Registered Partner -- Registered Partners are certified to sell and promote selected NetOp products and solutions in a given territory and/or industry as a complementary activity to his main business.
Certified Consulting Partner -- These partners are certified by Danware to provide consulting, training, implementation and post-sales support. Partners at this level are not certified to sell products.
International Certified Partner -- An international partner has trained and certified sales and support staff promoting, implementing and supporting all or selected NetOp products and solutions internationally through a network of subsidiaries, franchises or other close related network.
And most important, Groendahl said, NetOp Business Partners have availability to Danware's line of global-award-winning NetOp products in the leading market worldwide.
"North America already represents Danware's largest market -- with more than 500,000 NetOp licenses sold -- and there is tremendous potential for significant growth," he said. "We are looking for ambitious and aggressive partners to help drive that growth and share in the success. And we are prepared to offer those top resellers unparalleled benefits and support through our new NetOp Business Partner Program."
Danware develops and markets software products based on NetOp technology, which provides for fast, secure and stable transfer of images, audio and data between two or more computers. NetOp School is used for computer-based classroom teaching, while NetOp Remote Control products enable remote control of one or more computers. NetOp Netfilter is an Internet filtering solution used to distinguish safe from unsafe content. NetOp Security Suite includes a distributed firewall for monitoring computer processes and communication. All are plug-and-play products offering extensive functionality, flexibility and user-friendliness.
