Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $2.8 Million Order for Satellite Communications Equipment

MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received a satellite communications equipment order for $2.8 million from a global systems integrator. The equipment will be utilized to support a U.S. government agency's communications infrastructure project.
Included in the order is the MBT-4000 Outdoor Multi-Band RF Transceiver. This unique transceiver performs C-, X- and Ku-Band to L-Band down conversion and L-Band to C-, X-, and Ku-Band up conversion. Band-specific Block Up or Block Down Converters are fastened to the base unit with quick-release fasteners, enabling simplified operating band changes. The rugged construction of the MBT-4000 is ideal for mobile and transportable applications.
