VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Elastic Path Software, pioneer of flexible ecommerce software, has announced the addition of three seasoned experts to its board of directors: Gordon Janzen, Rich Simons and Keith Spencer. The company also strengthened its professional services offering with the promotion of Frank Chin to Director of Professional Services.
"Elastic Path is poised to take advantage of the global re-birth of ecommerce with an offering that is truly market disrupting for mid-sized online retailers," said Gordon Janzen. "Elastic Path's customers get leading ecommerce marketing, merchandising and operations capabilities on a flexible Java platform. He has also lectured in the areas of technology licensing, company formation, corporate finance and intellectual property at The University of British Columbia.
Frank Chin has been developing Internet software solutions for over 10 years. He has worked with four successful growth companies including MC2 Learning Systems (now OpenText), where he served as Senior Software Developer and Project Manager and helped grow the company from four employees to more than 400. Chin is currently a key player in Elastic Path's Aeroplan, 24 Hour Fitness and JBoss projects. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management System Science from Simon Fraser University.
"The focus on professional services and the expansion of our Board are further indicators of Elastic Path's commitment to staying ahead of the curve to deliver innovative solutions that enable retailers to optimize their ecommerce channel," said Harry Chemko, CEO of Elastic Path Software.
