BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. -- Feed Management Systems proudly announced their winning of the Microsoft Business Solutions Outstanding ISV Partner of the Year - Partner Choice Award for Excellence, and the CRN's Best in Show - MBS Partner of the Year award at the 2006 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Program Awards. The company was selected from an international field of top Microsoft Partners as delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology. "Congratulations to the entire FMS team on their consistent dedication and ability to add value to our industry customers and channel partner relationships."
Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide. Feed Management Systems was recognized for outstanding results and extraordinary performance. "It is a privilege to recognize Feed Management Systems as a winner of this year's MBS Outstanding ISV Partner of the Year - Partner's Choice award for excellence," said Allison Watson, Vice President of the Worldwide Partner and Small Business Group at Microsoft. "It is this level of effectiveness in reaching out to our shared customers regarding the value of solutions built on Microsoft technology that enables continued success for us and for our Partners. We applaud Feed Management Systems for its achievements this year and offer gratitude for our ongoing collaboration through the Microsoft Partner Program."
"Our continued development of solutions that meet the feed manufacturing industry's specific business and compliance requirements, along with strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, has been our key to success. Microsoft's support of industry-focused solution providers such as FMS and their ability to provide platforms which we can extend, provides our customers unmatched value solutions that truly fit their business," said Rich Reynertson.
The Microsoft Partner Program Awards recognize Microsoft Partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the last year. Multiple awards were distributed in each of four categories: Partner of the Year for Technology Innovation, Partner of the Year for Sales and Marketing, 2006 Specialization Excellence Awards and Microsoft Initiative Awards, which also includes the Winning Customer Award.
Heather Clancy, Vice President/Editor of Computer Reseller News, also presented the CRN's Best in Show - MBS Partner of the Year award to Feed Management Systems during the Microsoft award ceremony. "Awards recognize the best of the best partners, dovetailing with vendors' existing awards programs. This year, there were five awards picked in conjunction with Microsoft, a long-time advocate of the channel. Chief criteria considered in each of those categories included the ingenuity and innovation of the solution provider and its ability to help advance the entire partner channel ecosystem. Feed Management Systems' work in demonstrating that problems of process aren't confined to the boardroom stood out amid the other entries in the MBS partner category," stated Clancy.
