Optimum Solutions Acquires Core Ops Inc.; Optimum Expands its E-Business Capabilities Through Acquisition of Midwest Oracle Implementation Leader
Business Wire, August 3, 2006
SAN FRANCISCO -- Optimum Solutions, one of the industry's preeminent implementers of Oracle E-Business and PeopleSoft Enterprise solutions, has acquired Core Ops Inc., one of the central U.S.'s leading Oracle E-Business implementation firms. This strategic acquisition marks the most substantial expansion yet of Optimum's distinguished Oracle Center of Excellence.
"We are proud to be adding such an accomplished team of professionals" says Optimum's Managing Partner, John Houtary. "Clients will immediately benefit from the combined strength of Optimum's full service line and Core Ops' deep Oracle technology, application and business intelligence expertise."
Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Core Ops is highly regarded as an authority in Oracle technology, E-Business solutions and Business Intelligence Systems. Core Ops brings to Optimum such clients as InterMetro, Emerson Motor Company, Emerson Tool Company, Mark Andy and Fru-Con Construction Corporation. The acquisition of Core Ops significantly expands Optimum's presence in the U.S. Midwest and adds Core Ops' industry-leading Business Intelligence practice to Optimum's service capabilities.
"The desire to meet client demand for E-Business expertise is the driver for this acquisition, but continuing our excellence in solution deployment and customer satisfaction are our top goals. Organizations that share and employ our high standards are few -- in that sense Core Ops is a perfect match," notes Brad Smith, Senior Partner in charge of Service Delivery at Optimum.
"This union brings tremendous benefits to our customers, partners, and employees," says Core Ops founder, Glenn Hoormann. "By combining with Optimum's world-class Enterprise Solutions Center, its global presence, and partnership with Oracle, our clients gain access to a wider scope of services with the capability to deliver solutions across the full family of Oracle products."
"This acquisition represents the next phase of Optimum's accelerated growth and strengthens our position as a market leader in Oracle E-Business solution delivery, notes Houtary. "The addition of Core Ops brings us one step closer to our vision of being the leading implementer of Oracle's current and next-generation enterprise applications and technologies."
