It is targeted at the uncompromising high-end consumer and business user, adding the performance and features set to a mobile form factor only available today in desktop and workstation boxes.
Featuring a new generation 19" L UltraSpeed-II native 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio High-Resolution 1920x1200 Display, the new fully-upgradeable Quad nVIDIA(R) GeForce(TM) GO 7900 GTX 1024MB DDR3 Video Memory machine is designed around a Intel P965 workstation-class PCI-Express architecture with Dual-Channel DDR-II 800MHz SDRAM and a 1066MHz Bus speed, fitted with a latest generation Intel Core Duo 2 X6800 Extreme Processor, shipped accelerated at 3.37GHz clock speeds and supporting higher CPUs core speeds up to a theoretical 4Ghz.
With an optional L Multi-head adapter, the new Metropolis natively supports up to three-DVI external outputs with individual resolutions of up to 2048x1536 pixels per panel (6144x1536 total resolution) for direct connectivity right out-of-the-box with L's Gemini and Cinerama large format displays.
