Porter Airlines, which plans to provide service from its hub at TCCA beginning later this year, will use New Skies' integrated Internet booking engine when the airline begins taking reservations, with plans to support other third-party distribution channels, including global distribution systems.
Porter will be the tenth airline to implement Navitaire's New Skies reservation platform, an integrated Web-enabled reservation and inventory software suite introduced in 2005 that includes Internet, call center and airport departure control functionality.
