Network Solutions Inc. Announces a Live, ''On-Site'' Demonstration of Its Business Continuity Assurance Plan
Business Wire, August 8, 2006
HYPOLUXO, Fla. -- Bruce Gaster, President of Network Solutions Inc., announced today his invitation to the press and select business professionals to observe a test of BCAP, its Business Continuity Assurance Plan, which protects the life of a business during natural and man-made disasters, live at Johnson Zippay & Walters PA, a client currently taking advantage of NSI's program. The event will take place this Friday, August 11, 2006 at 12 p.m. at the client offices, 1401 North University Drive, Suite 301, Coral Springs, Florida 33071.
"Network Solutions believes that technology is only one component of a Business Continuity Program. In order for it to be effective, the hardware and software used must be part of an overall plan," said Mr. Gaster. "One thing that separates NSI from other solution providers is our client interaction. We look at our customers as true partners. We live test their plans to make sure everything is working as it should, and that all involved employees are up to speed."
The test involves NSI coming into the client's place of business and literally disconnecting the server, cutting off all data from the employee's workstations and within minutes, incorporating their technology and resuming 100% of operational effectiveness. This not only demonstrated the validity of the program, but also indicates where the client is on their overall plan and state of readiness.
From a leading Golf Car manufacturer, to Doctors, Lawyers, Collection agencies, Construction companies and even Kennesaw Fruit & Juice, NSI's customer base demonstrates the flexibility of its program.
Kennesaw Fruit & Juice was one of the first companies to understand the importance of business continuity during disaster situations and employ the services of NSI.
"At Kennesaw Fruit & Juice, we know our product must flow. We have customers around the country who demand we fulfill our contractual obligations. While hurricanes can excuse late delivery, they do not put juice on the shelves. If we cannot do it, regardless of the situation, our competitors will. Business is business and our customers cannot afford empty shelves," said Ed Zukerman, CFO of Kennesaw Fruit & Juice.
Kennesaw also had NSI live test its program and was "Thoroughly impressed and immensely satisfied," added Zukerman. "We now have the confidence, come high winds or water, electricity or no, that when it comes to 100% reliability in the delivery of fresh fruit and juices - Kennesaw can."
