Business Wire, August 9, 2006
SAN FRANCISCO -- CITTIO Inc., the award-winning innovation leader in network and systems monitoring software, today announced CEO Jamie Lerner will direct a tutorial session entitled, "Best Practices in Network Monitoring and Management" at LinuxWorld Conference and Expo.
This session, which will be held on Monday, August 14th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Moscone Center, will provide an overview of current best practices in network monitoring. The session will focus on those aspects of network monitoring and management that are common to all operating environments, with particular emphasis on popular Linux distributions. It will also demonstrate techniques for linking the various assets on the network to the specific business units and functions they support, thereby facilitating improved management of IT.
"I'm excited to speak at LinuxWorld on the 15th anniversary of Linux, as it has become a key tenet of the business world," said Jamie Lerner. "All businesses - regardless of their operating environment - must successfully monitor and maintain their network in order to insure the highest levels of customer service and productivity. As I share best practices in this area, my hope is that attendees will realize that network and systems monitoring products don't need to be complicated in order to be effective."
