PHOENIX -- edatanetworks USA Inc. announced today that Robert Wechsler, Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Service for Chase Paymentech Solutions, L.L.C. has joined its Board of Directors.

Robert Wechsler brings extensive financial services industry experience to his role as Executive Vice President, Global Sales & Service for Chase Paymentech. He is responsible for sales, business development, strategic alliances and client services for the company's proprietary multi-channel platform, as well as national retail, travel and entertainment, card-not-present and emerging markets. Mr. Wechsler previously served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National and Middle Market business units for the former Chase Merchant Services.

Mr. Wechsler joined Chase Merchant Services in 2002, after holding executive management positions in global sales, marketing and operations in multiple industries servicing the financial services, telecommunications, energy, public sector, and major events markets. Previously, Mr. Wechsler served as Vice President of North America for Schlumberger, Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for Convergent Group Corporation and Founder and Chief Operating Officer for Link2Gov Corporation.

Mr. Wechsler also sits on the Board for Peppercoin, a small payments technology company transforming routine card transactions into new revenue opportunities.
