Fall IntelliQuest CIMS 2006 Business Online Behavior Study Shows CIO.com Leads Market in Composition of IT and Senior Executives
IDG's CXO Media, producer of CIO magazine and www.CIO.com, reports CIO.com's audience is number one in average information technology (IT) spending among all 119 web sites measured in the Fall IntelliQuest CIMS 2006 Business Online Behavior Study (see table below). Released twice annually, the study shows CIO.com visitors will spend an average $1.6 million on IT products and services in the next 12 months, a significant increase from the Fall 2005 ($1,217,317) and Fall 2004 ($875,284) studies.

Methodology:
The IntelliQuest CIMS 2006 Business Online Behavior Study was fielded between July 2005 and November 2006. Respondents from the IntelliQuest CIMS Fall 2006 Business Influencer Study were invited to complete the Online Behavior Study questionnaire. Of the 9,691 respondents completing the regular IQ business study, 4,535 (47%) opted to complete the online portion. Results in this news release are based on visitors in the past six month timeframe. Charts shown include CIO.com competitive set only.
