Secure Services Gateway Family Demonstrates Superior Functionality and Performance in Network Security
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR) today announced that West Coast Labs has awarded the Checkmark Unified Threat Management (UTM) Level 5 Certification, its highest level of certification for network security products, to Juniper Networks' Secure Services Gateway (SSG) family.
The Checkmark UTM Level 5 certifies that Juniper Networks' SSG family achieved the highest level of certification by obtaining certification on each of the five UTM feature sets; firewall/VPN/Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware Gateway, Anti-Spam, URL filtering and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
"Juniper's SSG family is a robust, new generation of network security appliances that deliver advanced security," said Chris Thomas, operations director at West Coast Labs. "The SSG family can easily be deployed into both new and existing network infrastructures making it well suited to any organization that requires a consistently high level of gateway based security."
"Achieving Checkmark's highest level of UTM certification validates the functionality and performance of Juniper's industry leading network security products," said Stephen Philip, senior director of product marketing, Security Products, Juniper Networks. "West Coast Labs is a premier research and test facility and receiving its Checkmark Unified Threat Management certification for our SSG family demonstrates our leadership position to deliver best-in-class network security products to the market."
