CES Conferences and TechZones to Cover Expanding Home Theater Market
ARLINGTON, Va. -- The sights and sounds of home theater technologies will once again be a featured attraction at the 2007 International CES([R]), the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. CES returns to Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2007 for its 40th anniversary celebration.
"The latest advancements in audio and video technologies are driving the home theater market to new heights and CES is the place to see the latest and greatest products in this space," said Karen Chupka, senior vice president of events and conferences for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA([R])), the producer of the International CES. "High-definition televisions and high-performance audio systems are in high demand and together are a powerful home theater combination."
Key home theater exhibitors at the 2007 International CES include: Dolby Laboratories Inc., DTS, Earthquake Sound Corp., Kimber Kable, Klipsch/Jamo/Mirage/Energy, Meridian, Monster, Optoma Technology, Polk Audio, Runco/Vidikron, Thomson, THX Ltd., TTE and Westinghouse Digital Electronics.
Home theater exhibitors can be found at two locations at the 2007 International CES. Home theater exhibits will be featured in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and high-performance audio and home theater exhibitors will be showcased at CES' Sands Expo and Convention Center/The Venetian.
The 2007 International CES also will house more than 175 conference and SuperSessions, enabling attendees to hear from top industry professionals on key technologies and trends, including the latest emerging developments in the home theater industry. Home theater-specific conference sessions include: The New Face of TV, Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD: And the Winner IsO, TV Technology Showdown and IPTV: Television over the Internet.

The 2007 International CES features more than 20 market-specific TechZones, including the latest developments in the home theater category.
