Corel Corporation Completes Acquisition of Ulead Systems, Inc

OTTAWA, Canada -- Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL) (TSX:CRE), a leading global software provider, today announced that its InterVideo subsidiary has completed its acquisition of Ulead Systems, Inc.

InterVideo originally acquired a majority interest in Ulead in April 2005 and announced its intention to purchase the remaining Ulead shares in July 2006. On December 12, 2006, Corel acquired InterVideo and on December 28, 2006 completed the acquisition of the remaining Ulead shares.
