AMA Kicks Off 2007 Luncheon Series with the Best in Texas Ice Cream

SAN ANTONIO -- On January 24th, 2007, 11:30 am at the Plaza Club, 100 Houston St, Suite 2100, the American Marketing Association will kick off its 2007 luncheon series with a Texas Original, Blue Bell Ice Cream. Mr. Harold Gilson, Regional Manager for Blue Bell Creameries, will be speaking on how this regionally distributed product has become the third largest seller in the country.

Mr. Gilson is a Texas native with a long history at Blue Bell Creameries where he began working in 1979. He is the past president of the South Texas Retail Grocers Association and serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas Grocery and Convenience Association. He has won honors such as "Supplier of the Year" and remains highly active in community service activities.
