Business Wire, Dec 5, 2006
Enhanced Safety.BLR.com and Enviro.BLR.com Websites Now Even Better for Customers
OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. -- To expand its suite of training and compliance services in the safety and environmental markets, BLR[R] (Business & Legal Reports) today announced it has added an MSDS search resource center to its popular subscription websites - Safety.BLR.com and Enviro.BLR.com. This new capability is available due to a joint marketing agreement with Chicago-based MSDSonline[R].
The new suite of MSDSonline offerings is completely integrated into BLR's award-winning websites, providing instant access to this industry-leading database that contains millions of indexed MSDS documents. It is searchable by product or manufacturer name, chemical abstract (CAS), or product code. It is the most comprehensive library available, with over 10,000 new or updated files added every week.
Adding depth to its safety management offerings, MSDSonline will also make available for its customers BLR's line of safety training and compliance resources. BLR's featured products, Safety.BLR.com and Enviro.BLR.com, provide a complete array of training programs and include PowerPoint[R] presentations with speaker's notes, plain-English regulatory information, and industry news, along with sample policies and documents, for a multitude of safety and environmental situations.
"We are excited about this opportunity. The MSDSonline suite of services is a complementary fit with our existing products, rounding out our offerings to our customers," said Brian Gurnham, BLR COO. "We can now provide our customers with immediate access to critical safety documents and the tools to make managing compliance easier."
