Force Protection, Inc. Partners with U.S. Army on Jobs Program

Business Wire, Dec 6, 2006

LADSON, S.C. -- Force Protection, Inc. (OTCBB:FRPT) today signed an agreement with the U.S. Army Recruiting Command to provide priority hiring status to veterans participating in the Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program.

PaYS is a strategic partnership between the Army and a cross section of U.S. corporations and public-sector agencies. The program was developed to help the Army attract, train and deploy talented young people who want to serve their country and secure their future career success after completing their military service.

"The success of our life-saving armored vehicles in the field depends in large part on the skill level and ability of our workforce," said Force Protection COO Ray Pollard. "Our partnership with the U.S. Army and its PaYS program will be a wonderful resource to attract the type of employees needed to carry on this critical work for our troops."

Under the agreement, recruits will sign a statement of intent to work for Force Protection upon completion of their service. As they near the end of their enlistment, soldiers will have the opportunity to interview with Force Protection for available positions.

"The Army is excited to add Force Protection to its team of corporate partners in the PaYS program," said Col. David Gill, U.S. Army Recruiting 2nd Brigade Commander. "We are so proud of our partnerships like this that enable our recruiters to offer applicants quality employment opportunities after their Army service."

Job opportunities with Force Protection are available now and are listed in the Army's PaYS database. For more information, interested applicants may log onto www.armypays.com or visit their local recruiter.
