Dress Barn, Inc. Announces Appointment of Jeff Gerstel as Senior Vice President, Operations

SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Dress Barn, Inc. (NASDAQ: DBRN), a leading national specialty apparel retailer offering quality career and casual fashion apparel through its dressbarn and maurices brands, today announced that Jeff Gerstel has recently joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Operations for its dressbarn stores division. In this newly created position, he will report to David R. Jaffe, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Jeff Gerstel most recently served as Executive Vice President at A.C Moore Arts & Crafts, Inc., a specialty retailer of arts and crafts. Prior to joining A.C. Moore, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Rag Shops, Inc., a regional crafts and fabrics chain. He started his retail career with Factory 2-U Stores, Inc., a retail specialty apparel company, and progressed to Executive Vice President for store operations, real estate/construction, human resources and finance. During his retail career he has also been involved in completing and integrating several acquisitions.
