J. Jill Appoints Hilary Chasin as Chief Marketing Officer

HINGHAM, Mass. -- The Talbots, Inc. (NYSE: TLB) today announced that J. Jill has appointed Hilary Chasin, 48, as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer of the J. Jill Brand. In this role, Ms. Chasin will oversee J. Jill's Marketing efforts, focusing on the continuing effort to communicate the J. Jill brand to consumers across all channels. Ms. Chasin will report directly to J. Jill president Philip Kowalczyk.

"With more than 20 years of expertise in footwear and apparel, Hilary brings extensive multichannel experience in both creative and strategic marketing, which will prove invaluable as we continue to build the J. Jill brand."
Ms. Chasin previously served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Ann Taylor Loft. In that role, she was responsible for managing the company's integrated marketing programs for its retail and direct-to-consumer businesses. Prior to that, she held positions of increasing responsibility with companies such as DELiA*S and Foot Locker Worldwide.
Ms. Chasin holds a BA in Graphic Design from Adelphi University and a Masters of Arts from New School University, both in New York. She currently resides in Manhasset, New York with her husband Steven. They will be relocating to the Boston area after the first of the year.
