Indiana Awards $2.8 Million Contract to Monster Government Solutions to Build a Statewide Online Job Search and Recruitment System

MCLEAN, Va. -- Monster Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ:MNST), announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the State of Indiana to build a statewide online job search and recruitment system. The multi-year contract, awarded by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, is valued at $2.8 million.
The new system, to be built and managed by Monster Government Solutions, will provide job seekers a centralized location to view the many career opportunities available in Indiana. It will also provide employers seeking qualified employees with a suite of new tools to find candidates. Job seekers and firms will be able to utilize the core functions of the new system at no cost.

Monster Government Solutions plans to have the system for Indiana operational by late 2006. Monster Worldwide is also pleased to increase its presence as an employer in Indiana as a result of the contract, added Bond. Monster currently operates a regional office in Indianapolis employing more than 200 workers. The Indianapolis hub office serves the central United States and includes technical, creative, customer services and support staff.
