Wilt Chamberlain's Record 100-Point Game Available Through New Google Video Store; Exclusive Audio Play-by-Play of Entire Fourth Quarter Now Available for Fans to Own

NEW YORK -- Exclusive audio play-by-play of the entire fourth quarter of NBA Hall of Famer Wilt Chamberlain's record 100-point single-game performance on March 2, 1962 is now available for NBA fans to listen to and own through the new Google Video Store (http://video.google.com).
Fans can access Chamberlain's historic game as a member of the Philadelphia Warriors against the New York Knicks on Google, and recapture his remarkable 31-point fourth quarter performance. Along with the only radio recording of the game, the special feature on the Google Video Store also provides fans with access to a variety of photographs of Chamberlain, including images from his record-breaking game. The game in 1962 was not televised and there is no known video or film available.
Along with Google, NBA TV, the league's 24-hour television network, will provide audio play-by-play of the fourth quarter of Chamberlain's 100-point game on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 6:00 p.m. ET.
"After Kobe Bryant's 81-point performance last week, fans have a renewed appreciation for Wilt Chamberlain's extraordinary achievement," said Brenda Spoonemore, Senior Vice President of Interactive Services for NBA Entertainment. "Chamberlain's record 100-point game is a part of NBA history that, for the first time, NBA fans and collectors can now own a piece of through the Google Video Store."
Google recently teamed up with the NBA to launch the Google Video Store, marking the first time fans were able to purchase full 2005-06 NBA contests online 24 hours after the conclusion of games. Chamberlain's 100-point game will be available for $3.95.
On Sunday, Jan. 22, Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant scored 81-points against the Toronto Raptors, which ranks was second only to Chamberlain, and marks only the fifth time in NBA history a player has reached the 70-point plateau in a single game (Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, David Thompson, David Robinson). A complete video broadcast of Bryant's entire game, currently available for fans to watch and own, has quickly become one of the most popular video content to date on the Google Video Store.
