Audistry and Intel Expand Ecosystem for Audistry by Dolby Personal Sound Technology; Intel® XScale® Technology Adds a New Level of Performance to the Audistry Experience

BARCELONA, Spain -- At the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Audistry LLC, a Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE:DLB) company, today announced a collaboration with Intel Corporation to facilitate integration of Audistry(TM) technology into a new breed of mobile phones and portable audio products.

Audistry has optimized its new sound technology for Intel(R) XScale(R) technology-based platforms using Intel Wireless WMMX(TM) technology. Use of the Intel compiler and Intel Wireless MMX intrinsics and assembly optimizations for XScale provide a 34 percent performance gain for Audistry's sound technology on Intel XScale technology-based platforms.
