AccuSoft Announces Signal Processing Toolbox for Use with VisiQuest Data and Image Analysis Product; New Add-on Speeds Development and Testing, Enabling Engineers to Bring Products to Market Faster
Business Wire, Feb 13, 2006
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. -- AccuSoft Corporation, the global leader in imaging and data analysis solutions, announced today a new Signal Processing Toolbox for its VisiQuest(R) Version 4.2 data and image analysis solution. Using the new add-on module, engineers in the fields of communications, audio/video analysis and development, radar/sonar, consumer, medical electronics and other markets can complete their prototypes sooner. VisiQuest 4.2's graphical programming environment combined with the wide-ranging set of functionality in the new toolbox allows electronics manufacturers to rapidly develop and test prototypes for applications such as signal compression and decompression, digital filter design, spectral analysis, and noise reduction.
The comprehensive set of signal processing, analysis, and visualization functionality available in the toolbox allows scientists and engineers to easily apply and modify dozens of industry standard digital filters. Users can rapidly decompose signals using a series of transforms (including FFTW, Hilbert, etc.), perform Convolution, Deconvolution, Correlation (auto, cross, matrix, partial, rank, etc.) and Covariance (auto- and cross-). All of the functionality is available in the VisiQuest graphical programming environment, meaning engineers do not need to write any programs using a proprietary language when developing and testing their prototypes. As a result, they can dramatically improve their ability to get products to market faster.
"The introduction of this toolbox is the second of many planned toolboxes," stated Tom Leone, President, AccuSoft Corporation. "VisiQuest has proven to be an invaluable tool to scientists and engineers in commercial and government sectors, in addition to academia. We're fully committed to working with our expanding client base to ensure that it remains the de facto standard for complex data and image analysis processing and visualization."
AccuSoft's VisiQuest software provides a visual framework for solving complex problems in an intuitive, easy to use, drag-and-drop workspace. Users can use the hundreds of built-in functions or use the extensibility tools to create their own. As a result, users can create a visualization tool, target acquisition project, or signal processing application from prototype to completed product in significantly less time and with significantly less effort. In addition to the Signal Processing Toolbox, the Company offers a Chemoinformatics Toolbox for VisiQuest that leverages MESA Analytics & Computing technology to enable advanced data mining and analysis for early drug discovery.
Pricing & Availability:
For a limited time, AccuSoft's Signal Processing Toolbox is free to customers who purchase VisiQuest Version 4.2. Both products will be available for purchase or evaluation through AccuSoft and its international network of authorized resellers on Friday, February 17th.
