Percussion Software Utilizes its Rhythmyx ECM Solution to Build and Expand Relationship with Banking Trade Association; Rhythmyx Enhances Multi-Site Web Environment Development

Business Wire, Feb 13, 2006

WOBURN, Mass. -- Percussion(R) Software, a leading developer of practical software solutions enabling customers to maximize the value and quality of enterprise content, today announced that the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the national association of the real estate finance industry, has deployed two newly enhanced Web sites, one serving its membership and the other more consumer-focused, using Percussion's Rhythmyx Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. With Rhythmyx, the management of site content has been simplified and the development cycle improved. Sites under Rhythmyx management include MBA's predominant domain, www.mortgagebankers.org as well as www.homeloanlearningcenter.com, MBA's consumer education Web site that delivers the information and tools necessary in understanding the home buying process.

"Revamping the MBA Web site and enhancing our consumer education Web site have been major projects," said MBA's Chief Information Officer, Brandie Fennell. "Rhythmyx fits our development philosophy. It has given us the out-of-the-box functionality we've needed and doesn't force us into unnecessary customization that would complicate future upgrades."

MBA selected Rhythmyx to replace several homegrown CMS systems, after a competitive evaluation of five CMS vendors. Over time, the association plans to continue deploying the software throughout its large, multi-site environment. Some key reasons why MBA chose to use Rhythmyx include easy centralization of content management, .NET integration and database publishing, and scalability of the Rhythmyx De-Coupled Delivery architecture.

Percussion Software's CEO, Barry Reynolds, noted, "MBA is a complex organization with an important, multifaceted mission that drives their multi-site, multi-domain Web presence. With Rhythmyx, MBA is creating dozens of Web sites quickly and easily, making maximum use of page templates while delivering fresh, up-to-date content, and serving the unique needs of both their members and consumers. Rhythmyx is the ideal solution for any organization that operates a large, multi-site Web environment like MBA's."
