J. David Greydanus Named Senior Vice President - Waldorf=Astoria Collection® Brand Management for Hilton Hotels Corporation

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- J. David Greydanus has been named senior vice president - brand management for Hilton Hotels Corporation's (NYSE:HLT) recently unveiled The Waldorf=Astoria Collection(R). He most recently served as senior vice president - brand management for Embassy Suites Hotels. He will continue to report to Tom Keltner; president brand performance and development group.
In his new position, Greydanus will be responsible for the product definition, marketing, and unit development of The Waldorf=Astoria Collection around the world. As such, the company anticipates that its new Waldorf-Astoria Collection will grow through co-branding of existing luxury landmark or boutique hotels that will add The Waldorf=Astoria Collection to their name; designation of existing high-end Hilton or Conrad hotels as part of The Waldorf=Astoria Collection; and opening new-build hotel/residential developments in gateway cities using the Waldorf=Astoria brand name itself to provide prestige and elegance, globally.
Greydanus has been involved in the hospitality business for 25 years, 15 with Hilton/Promus/Doubletree. During that time he has served as director of sales/marketing, general manager, sr. director of field sales/marketing; area vice president of operations; regional vice-president of operations for Doubletree and Embassy Suites, and senior vice president of operations for a portfolio of 98 company managed Embassy Suites and Hilton Suites Hotels. He had been the Embassy Suites brand manager since February 2003.
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Greydanus received a bachelor of arts degree in English literature and history from Calvin College in Grand Rapids.
