Citrix NetScaler Application Firewall Passes Rigorous ICSA Labs Premier Services Certification for Web Application Security

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today announced that ICSA Labs, an independent division of Cybertrust, Inc., has certified the Citrix(R) NetScaler(R) Application Firewall for passing a rigorous set of functional, performance, and platform security requirements as part of the ICSA Labs Premier Services criteria for Web application security.
Specifically, ICSA Labs certified that the Citrix NetScaler Application Firewall utilizes a positive security model rejecting all traffic that is not known to be good, reducing the possibility of data theft, credit card theft and identity theft. The NetScaler Application Firewall also cloaks internal application structures, offers advanced SSL support, and, most importantly, detects and prevents against entire classes of Web application attacks, including (but not limited to):

ICSA Labs Premier Services offers vendors of established and emerging technologies an individualized test methodology designed to test security products in a controlled network environment against specified criteria requirements.
