SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- JibJab Media is pleased to announce the addition of Aaron Simpson, an Emmy-nominated animation producer, to its team as Vice President, Animation Production and Development. Simpson will oversee JibJab's world-renowned animation production efforts, including projects for the Internet and mobile devices, as well as an animated feature film.

"Aaron is a pioneer in the field of digital animation production and we're thrilled he's come aboard to help us reinvent the way animation is produced."
"My mission is to help the dynamic duo of Gregg and Evan Spiridellis continue to produce innovative, world-class animation utilizing the latest digital techniques, while also identifying new creative projects," Simpson said. "Thanks to Gregg and Evan's leadership, JibJab has been transformed into a global brand that now offers a phenomenal opportunity for expansion to new levels of creative and financial success."
Simpson is currently nominated for an Emmy as Producer of "Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island," a Flash-animated series on Kids'WB! on which he worked before coming to JibJab. Prior to Warner Bros., Simpson was Senior Producer of Original Content at Sony, where he helped architect a forward-thinking entertainment portal, Screenblast. Simpson is also the founder and editor of Cold, Hard Flash (coldhardflash.com), the only daily source for Flash animation news in the world.
