Gotham Technology Group Named Citrix Channel Partner of the Year
Business Wire, Feb 16, 2006
NEW YORK -- Gotham Technology Group announced that it has been named Citrix(R) (NASDAQ: CTXS) Channel Partner of the Year for 2005. This award was presented on January 30 at Citrix's 8th annual Solutions Summit in Orlando, Fla. Since its founding in 2001, Gotham Technology Group has consistently been among Citrix's best-selling partners yet this is the first time Gotham has won this prestigious honor.
"We are pleased to recognize Gotham as our channel partner of the year. As a Citrix Solution Advisor, they have demonstrated a strong commitment to working with Citrix for the benefit of our customers," stated Al Monserrat, Citrix Vice President and General Manager for North America. "Through our relationship, we can offer complete, proven access infrastructure solutions that meet the specific needs of today's organizations."
In the face of an ever-changing industry where new partners emerge on a continuous basis, many industry insiders continue to be surprised by the performance of this regional player in the face of national competition. "We feel that our consulting work in application virtualization, security, and compliance ideally complements Citrix's product growth and development," comments Ken Phelan, Gotham's CTO. Phelan went on to state, "We've always been able to bring their new products into our solution set in highly successful and mutually profitable ways."
As a Citrix(R) Access Partner, Gotham engaged with Citrix to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction in Access Infrastructure solutions. "I'm extremely pleased that Gotham has been recognized as Citrix's Partner of the Year. Too many business relationships today are very one sided. Both Gotham and Citrix work hard to make this one work both ways. If Gotham had a partner award, I would give it to them as well," says Ira Silverman, CEO of Gotham Technology Group.
