SAS Chief Technology Officer to Present at Peak 10; Discussion to Focus on the Evolution of the Business Intelligence Software Market

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Peak 10, the Southeast's leading data center operator and managed services provider, today announced that Keith Collins, senior vice president and chief technology officer of SAS, will present at its on-going educational seminar series. Collins will discuss the evolution of the business intelligence software market and how organizations are leveraging enterprise data to maximize value, minimize risk and optimize performance. The presentation will be held at Peak 10's Research Triangle data center on February 23, 2006 at 11:45 a.m.
Mr. Collins, who led the development of SAS' breakthrough platform SAS(R)9, will address how analytics and business intelligence (BI) software are no longer the exclusive domain of quantitative and statistical experts. He will highlight how SAS solutions are outpacing the market by helping business people from the factory floor to the board room empower a higher level of business decision making.

In his current position at SAS, Collins promotes corporate technology strategy and supports the efforts of the company's global research and development, customer support, and corporate information systems divisions. With a primary focus on customer-and partner-facing activities, Collins fosters close working relationships with marketing and other customer-facing divisions to ensure that SAS technologies are aligned with customer needs and market demand. Collins is a graduate of North Carolina State University and was named a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus by the university in 2003.
