Regional Acceptance Looks to AT&T for Network Upgrade
Business Wire, Feb 20, 2006
GREENVILLE, N.C. -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today that it has helped Regional Acceptance Corporation, a premier auto finance company, to upgrade its technology infrastructure. Under terms of the contract, AT&T designed and installed a series of routers that comprises a critical component of Regional Acceptance's network architecture, which spans 51 sites across 14 states.
The router installation extends AT&T's existing relationship with Regional Acceptance in which AT&T provides a high speed networking solution, voice services, Internet access, as well as disaster-recovery hosting space. Terms of the contracts were not available.
"During the past several years, Regional Acceptance has enjoyed tremendous growth and expansion," said Brian House, senior vice president of Management Information Systems and Technology. "AT&T has always provided us with two vital components: scalability and exemplary service."
"Regional is looking forward to more advanced services and technology offerings as a result of the recent AT&T/SBC merger," House continued.
