Branded Media Launches ''The Two Meatballs'' on ''The Early Show'' on CBS

Business Wire, Feb 21, 2006

NEW YORK -- Branded Media Corporation (Pinksheets: BMCP) announced today that it launched Pino Luongo and Mark Strausman as "The Two Meatballs" on the CBS Early Show. "The Two Meatballs" are successful and highly acclaimed New York restaurateurs who love to cook Italian.

This odd couple of cooking appeared together as "The Two Meatballs" for the first time today. Squaring off on national television, the duo competed with recipes for one of their many family favorites: meatballs. To watch the segment, go to www.cbs.com and click on The Early Show.

Pino and Mark have been friends and business partners for 20 years, including New York's high profile "Coco Pazzo." Pino named the restaurant after Mark the "crazy chef."

As "The Two Meatballs", Pino and Mark are in pre-production with Branded Media on a TV series and are putting the finishing touches on a companion cookbook due out from Norton this fall.

Branded Media CEO Eve Krzyzanowski says, "Italian food is the most popular food in the US. It's the food of everyday that families can enjoy together. What better way to have some fun and add some spice in the kitchen than with a true Italian chef from Tuscany and an American chef who loves to cook Italian? "The Two Meatballs" have a new recipe for success, bringing the family back to the dinner table with fresh and easy home cooking."

With four popular Tuscan cookbooks, Pino Luongo's restaurants have included "Il Cantinori", "Sapore di Mare", "Le Madri", "Centolire" and "Tuscan Sqaure". Mark Strausman is the executive chef at celebrity hotspot "Fred's" at Barney's and created "Campagna" restaurant and a companion cookbook.

Luongo says, "I want to bring a love of true Italian food to American families. I learned to cook from my mother, and I love to cook for my family. That's what I want to give people through my recipes, cookbooks, and now, 'The Two Meatballs' with my good friend Mark Strausman."

Strausman says, "I grew up with Italian-American food and that's the ultimate comfort food. Everybody remembers eating spaghetti and meatballs when they were kids, and they're still always looking for homey food. As friends and business partners, Pino and I love to disagree about everything except great tasting food that's easy to make."
