Business Wire, Feb 28, 2006
SAN DIEGO -- Moore Joins Wall Street Analysts and Industry Executives to Talk about the Future of Professional Services at the TPSA Summit: Fiction to Fact, April 9-11
The Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA) today announced the content of the first TPSA Summit, entitled "Fiction to Fact," April 9-11 in San Diego.
Noted industry commentator and author Geoffrey Moore will deliver his most current perspectives in a keynote on "Technology Adoption 2006." Speakers also include TPSA Executive Director Thomas Lah, Dan Niles of Lehman Brothers, and senior professional services executives from CA, Cisco Systems, Convergys, EMC, Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, GlassHouse Technologies, IKON Office Solutions, Lucent, salesforce.com and Software AG.
The industry defining conference, featuring two days of objective data, strategic frameworks and detailed case studies, will focus on addressing common management misperceptions with real data and real answers to key questions in support of developing or broadening companies' professional services portfolios to meet market needs.
"Business professionals need up-to-the-minute data and real-world answers to the challenges of identifying new services opportunities, and then differentiating their services. What investments are required to sustain and improve a services business? How fast can the organization grow? What about improving margins in service offerings in an intensely competitive environment? All of these business critical issues will be examined in depth at the Summit," said Lah.
The TPSA Summit will also serve as the forum for the presentation of TPSA Industry Task Force reports on best practice accounting principles, economic impact analysis and intellectual asset management.
To register, go to www.tpsaonline.com or call 858.673.3041.
Leveraging its influential membership, TPSA serves as a pre-eminent thought leader and issues advocate, providing insights and trends analysis to the media, industry and business community-at-large on all matters related to technology professional services. The organization recently announced its inaugural Benchmark Survey and The Service 50, an aggregation and analysis of publicly reported financial data, with a focus on trends in services revenues, margins and contributions to total corporate revenue.
